What each line of the result means.
Merchant name
The name the QRIS owner registered with the issuer. Your payer app shows this name, or its alternate, when you pay.
NMID
The national merchant ID, usually ID followed by 13 digits. One QRIS, one NMID.
Issuer
The provider that receives the money, such as the bank or e-wallet behind the merchant account, read from the issuer code (GUI) inside the QR.
Category and criteria
The registered business category code (MCC) and business size (UMI micro, UKE small, UME medium, UBE large).
Static or dynamic
A static QR has no amount; you type it. A dynamic QR already carries the amount, and that is what you will pay.
CRC
A check value at the end of the QR content. If it does not match, the content is damaged or was changed after it was made.
Status at Konek QR
Only for QRIS that use Konek QR: whether the owner has proven it is theirs, and whether it was reported and reviewed by an admin. Most QRIS do not use Konek QR, and that is normal.
Red flags before you pay.
QRIS Check cannot prove who owns a QRIS. It helps you see what is really inside the QR.
- The merchant name differs from the shop or person you are paying.
- The QRIS sticker looks stuck on top of another one.
- The CRC does not match, or the QR carries more than one payee.
- A dynamic QR with an amount you did not agree to.
- You are asked to pay a QR to "unlock", "verify" or "activate" something.
What is sent: the NMID and MPAN only.
Images, the camera feed and the QR content are read in your browser and never sent anywhere. To show the status at Konek QR, your browser sends only its NMID and MPAN (the number of the merchant at its issuer, part of the QR content) to api.konekqr.web.id. If that service cannot be reached, the result from your browser still shows.
Konek QR does not issue QRIS and is not affiliated with Bank Indonesia, ASPI or any QRIS issuer.
